Police are hunting a group of people who bashed and robbed two men in East Rockingham.
The victims — aged 46 and 31 — were sitting inside their white Mitsubishi Express campervan in the carpark near the Kwinana horse beach on Rockingham Beach Road around 1.45am on Saturday, February 28, when another vehicle entered the car park.
"Several unknown persons exited the vehicle and approached the campervan before shattering multiple windows and assaulting the men," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"During the incident, the 46‑year‑old man was also sprayed with an unknown substance.
"Personal items belonging to the victims were stolen before the offenders fled the scene."
Both victims, who are on holiday in WA, attended Rockingham Hospital for treatment for non-life‑threatening injuries.
The campervan sustained extensive damage.
It is believed the unknown group were travelling in a white Ford Territory or similar vehicle.
Detectives urge anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone vision relating to the incident — including the vehicle of interest — to upload it directly to investigators via the following link: https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/rockinghambeachroadrobbery
