97.3 Coast FM launched at 11am on September 30, 1996 in Mandurah, Western Australia. We're celebrating 30 Years of Coast FM throughout the month of September, 2026!

We launched with the slogan, "Born to Rock" and the first song played was La Grange by ZZ Top. Fast forward to 2026 and we now play "All The Hits".

Coast FM is a live, local and independent radio station owned by West Coast Radio Pty Ltd.
