Bunbury Detectives want to hear from anyone with information relating to the suspicious approach of a child in Dalyellup.
The child approach incident happened at about 5pm yesterday when an 11-year-old girl was walking home from school along Hornibrook Road and Norton Promenade.
Police said she was was approached by a white van and the driver tried to coax the girl to get into the car on two occasions.
He is described as dark skinned, aged 30-40 years, bald with a beard and moustache and a small tattoo on his wrist.
He was wearing a hi-viz vest with a Kangaroo label.
The vehicle is described as a white van with double door rear opening and silver painted rims.
The van has a dent in the right front guard and a large aerial on the back.
