The Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest is set to dish up a huge range of free, family friendly entertainment and activities this weekend (March 14 and 15).
From fireworks and children’s activities to roving entertainers and 18 hours of live music, there will be plenty to see and do, with free entry and something to suit all ages and tastes.
Celebrating 25 years, Mandurah Crab Fest boasts a jam-packed program designed to celebrate the Mandurah lifestyle including gourmet food stalls, specialty dishes and experiences from local restaurants and businesses, plus family fun and entertainment on and off the water.
“Whether you’re keen to fully immerse yourself in the Crab Fest program or enjoy a more relaxed vibe with good food and drinks by the beautiful estuary, you’ll be spoilt for choice over Crab Fest weekend,” Mayor Amber Kearns said.
“We’re set for a great line-up of local and national acts on the Seaside Estate Music Stage, including Havana Brown and Thelma Plum, and head to the Spudshed Cooking Stage to catch ambassador chefs Diana Chan and Brendan Pang cooking up a storm.
“Whatever you’re into, Crab Fest will again be an incredible celebration of community, connection, and energy, and I can’t wait to dive in!”
A fireworks display, presented by The Lane Group, will light up the night over Mandjar Bay on Saturday night (March 14) at 8:45pm, with the best viewing spots along the Eastern Foreshore and over to Stingray Point near The Peninsula.
The Spudshed Cooking Stage, which is back for its fourth consecutive year, will feature live cooking demonstrations from a range of Channel 7 personalities and more, plus Spudshed’s popular Yellow Brick Road, supported by Buy West Eat Best, is back for another year.
The new Grow It Local stage will showcase a range of useful demonstrations on how to sustainably grow and eat homegrown produce including pickling and preserving, creating waterwise homes and gardens, worm farms, and backyard growing in spaces big and small.
The Alcoa Family Zone in the Mandurah Ocean Marina (Keith Holmes Reserve) will be the perfect spot for families and children with a range of free and low-cost activities, including the dedicated Children’s Stage with live performances all weekend.
Keep the kids entertained with free activities including mermaid meet and greets, an interactive SciTech display, roving entertainers, RAC’s interactive helicopter, pedal swans in the Kwillena Gabi circular pool, plus the fenced nature playground on the Eastern Foreshore.
The City of Mandurah’s iconic annual Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest is one of WA’s biggest free regional events, attracting more than 100,000 people to the city centre and waterfront spaces each year.
The 2026 event footprint will stretch from Mandurah’s city centre and along the Eastern and Western Foreshores, through to Mandjar Square and
over to the award-winning Mandurah Ocean Marina.
