The works of local Mandurah artists aged 13 to 25 have been recognised and celebrated at the Masterpieces 2K19 Art Competition and Exhibition at Contemporary Arts Spaces Mandurah.
The annual event explores the current social perspectives of Mandurah’s creative youth community. This year included 37 entries involving drawings, paintings, urban art, photography and digital media.
Concepts and topics included nature and the environment, youth mental health, the challenge of being young in today's society, reflections on and the use of technology, fantasy illustration and self-reflection through portraiture.

The next workshop will take place at CASM on Sunday, 7 April with artist Alana Grant. Artists between 13 - 25 years will once again be given the chance to develop an artwork utilising natural elements from within the CASM grounds. Registrations are essential at www.casm@mandurah.wa.gov.au.
There will also be a free artist talk at CASM at 2pm on Sunday, 5 May. The Masterpieces 2K19 exhibition is on display until Sunday, 5 May.
