Police received reports around 1:30pm and 2:30pm of two men forcing their way into a Osborne Park home on Sunday, September 13.
It's alleged one of the men pushed the 30-year-old male occupant to the ground before threatening him with a handgun.
He was then allegedly assaulted and items were stolen from within the house, before both left in a maroon coloured Holden Commodore.
Authorities said the male victim was able to identify one of the assailants, a 33-year-old man known to him.
The victim did not require medical treatment for his injuries.
Police have charged the 33-year-old man of no fixed place of abode with aggravated armed robbery and 70 counts of stealing.
Investigations are continuing into the identity of the second person and there are no concerns for the broader public safety.
Anyone with information which may assist the investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
