UPDATE: Mr Hird has been located safe and well in the Maylands area.
Police are appealing for information to help them locate Brian Hird.
The 81-year-old was last seen leaving Belmont Forum in Cloverdale around 12:25pm yesterday.
It's understood he may have then traveled on the Midland/Fremantle train lines and could be disoriented or confused.
Mr Hird is described as 175cm tall, having a fair complexion and solid build with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen wearing grey track pants, a black top and walking with a wheeled walking frame.
Anyone who sees Mr Hird is asked to remain with him and call police immediately on 132 444.
