A local snake catcher says a snake slithering around a supermarket in Halls Head is on its normal food hunt.
It's been a busy week for Mandurah region snake removalist Brad Williams who has removed five tiger snakes including two at Pinjarra Harness Racing Club.
"This is an average amount of call-outs but it is about to get even busier.
"For the snake that has been identified at IGA in Seascapes, it's coming to that part of the spring season where it's normal to come across them eventually and a snake removalist is on the way to try to locate it.
"Don't approach the snake, step back and call a snake handler as soon as you can."
