Mandurah Detectives have charged two woman after a series of retail thefts in the Mandurah District between 19 October and 8 November 2018.
It will be alleged that the women would remove large amount of goods from retail premises shelves and then quickly leave the store with the goods, on occasion one of the women would remove the property and the second woman wait in a vehicle with the engine running to make their escape.
It will be further alleged the total amount of goods the pair removed was valued at over $6,000.
As a result a 32 year old Port Kennedy woman was charged with;
• 5 x counts Stealing,
• 1 x count of Common Assault,
• 2 x counts Gains benefit by fraud and,
• 1 x count Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.
She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today 9 November 2018.
A 28 year old Port Kennedy woman was charged with;
• 5 x counts Stealing.
