A homeless man has been left bloodied and with serious injuries following the attack earlier this month.
Fremantle Detectives continue to investigate after a serious assault in the Fremantle city centre on Sunday June 3.
Around 12,30am a 61-year-old man, who is currently homeless, was attacked in the car park off Point Street,
Authorities said the victim was laying on the ground in a sleeping bag at the rear of an Adelaide Street business when a man approached him and began to assault him.
The homeless man received serious head and facial injuries and was rushed to hospital where he remains.
The offender is described as being fair skinned, between 30 and 34 years of age, approximately 167cm tall, with a medium build and dark hair.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket.
