Rain and possible thunderstorms have been forecast for Mandurah for the next seven days.
Yesterday was Perth's hottest winter day ever recorded reaching a top of 30 degrees - beating the previous record of 28.1 degrees set on June 5 1965.
But, the sunny conditions will be short lived.
From Thursday afternoon, local residents can expect two cold fronts to hit, with up to 100mm of rain predicted for the coming days.
A strong wind warning is also in place, with gusts expected to reach 40km/h on Thursday, increasing to 50km/h on Friday night.
The conditions will bring cold weather with daily minimum temperatures ranging from 10 to 13 degrees.
