A 41-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly stealing a police car.
Police were called to a disturbance at a licensed premises on Albany Highway in East Victoria Park around 4.30pm on Monday.
The officers got out of their car when they saw a man and a woman outside the premises fighting.
When police tried to arrest the man, the woman allegedly got into the police vehicle and drove off.
The car was found about 400m down the road.
It had crashed into a parked Mazda 6 near the intersection of Carson and Langer Street.
The woman allegedly ran from the crash scene but was arrested nearby.
No one was injured.
The 41-year-old woman from Thornlie has been charged with a string of offences including stealing a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and giving false personal details to police.
She will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
A police internal investigation is now underway.
