A member of the public has had to stop a woman from driving, after she was allegedly found travelling with no front tyre.
It is alleged around 2:40pm Sunday, November 8 a member of the public saw a Holden Captiva wagon driving erratically along the South Western Highway in Byford.
Following the vehicle for 5km, they allegedly noticed sparks and debris were coming from the front of the vehicle which eventually came to a stop near the intersection of Kiln Road.
The witness then proceeded to get out of their vehicle and seized her car keys and called the police.
Authorities arrived and discovered the front drivers side wheel had been worn down to the brake caliper.

The 31-year-old Harrisdale woman underwent a breath test and has been charged with one count of reckless driving and exceed 0.08g alcohol per 100ml of blood.
Her vehicle has since been seized and she was served with a disqualification notice.
She is due to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court December 18.
