Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred yesterday in the carpark of a shopping centre located on the corner of Old Coast Road and Paris Road, Australind.
Around 3.50pm, an 87-year-old woman driving a brown Mazda Tribute station wagon struck two pedestrians which resulted in them being pinned against other parked vehicles.
The pedestrians, a 33-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter received serious injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital. The 7-year-old girl was then transferred by plane to the Perth Children’s Hospital intensive care unit.
