On Wednesday 1st September, Peel Volunteer Resource Centre & City of Mandurah are hosting a workshop called ‘Being part of a not-for-profit Board’, so if you’ve recently joined a Board of Management, this interactive workshop could be for you! Perfect for those NEW to Governance.
This workshop will provide an overview of the legal obligations and core activities of Boards and Management Committees.
The aims are to give participants a foundation in governance and best practice strategies for a functioning and effective Board.
It is designed as a short informative session that will provide practical mechanisms and strategies for reviewing your Boards progress throughout its term.
