On Sunday 26th June, the Jarrahdale Heritage Society Inc. are hosting a Blue Rock Walk!
It's set to be an easy grade 3 walk with just a short climb up the rock.
Granite outcrops are fascinating places to explore with mosses, lichens, and sometimes rock dragons taking refuge in the crevices!
Once off the rock, the walk will pass through the forest with examples of past forestry and also rehabilitation sights after bauxite mining.
Wear suitable clothing for the weather and good footwear is also an essential. Hiking poles if you wish, water, trail snack and insect repellent.
Price is $7.50 for Adults & $2.50 School Age Children, and all profits will go towards the Jarrahdale Heritage Society Inc, a volunteer run organisation who are committed to preserving Jarrahdale's natural and man-made history.
Registration is from 8.30am, with the walk starting at 9am sharp.
