Your chance to make a real difference to Cape Peron now that the Mangles Bay Marina won't go ahead. The Cape needs some TLC, and it's fascinating to learn about the treasures we have.
Friends of Point Peron (founded 2006) has been planting seedlings, watering them, collecting seeds and pulling out weeds and sharing the secrets of the local bush.
From the 6th of April until July 27th, there’ll be land care volunteers at the Peron Oval in Cape Peron Reserve planting seeds and weeding. Every Saturday in April (until it rains) 9am-1pm caring for our seedlings, tidying up and weeding from the 6, 13, 20, 27 April.
Every Sunday from 19th May until 30th June from 9am-1pm there'll be planting and direct seeding.
