Calling all Perth trivia whizzes! On Friday 5th November, join Western Australian Poultry Rescue Association at the Mandurah Seniors Centre for a charity quiz night to raise funds for the only registered rooster rescue and re-homing charity that exists in Australia!
We are raising funds to help with the funding of the relocation of the Western Australian Poultry Rescue Association. It's set to be a fun-filled night with lots of prizes!
A kid-friendly night with activity tables set up for them!
It is a licensed event with plenty of cool prizes, ranging from Alcohol, Dinner Reservations, Earth Works and Pirate Ship Mandurah passes and more! There will also be a silent auction.
The Quiz Master on the night will be none other than local celebrity, Pirate George from the Pirate Ship Mandurah!
The Western Australian Poultry Rescue Association (aka Rid Rooster) are a local WA charity founded by Rachel Pearce who accidentally stumbled across a real problem of roosters needing to be rescued and re-homed.
Many children, as a fun learning experience like to hatch chickens and learn about the process of life and the development of chickens. The problem this creates is that 50/50 grow up to be roosters, which are generally not allowed in suburban area's. The children, obviously, do not want their beloved pet chicken to be killed, so, to date they have offered a service that gives every rooster a chance to live a long and wholesome life at a forever home.
They are now looking to offer a long term solution with a new, more suitable location.
The Quiz Night Fundraiser at the Mandurah Seniors Centre Main Hall on Friday 5th of November.
Starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at Eventbrite or at the door.
Kids under 10 are free and there will be activity tables set up for them.
