School holidays usually mean kids saying “I’m bored!”. Don’t let that happen these school holidays and check out our great range of FREE children’s activities available at the City of Mandurah Libraries! (Mandurah Library, Lakelands Library & Falcon Library).

Keep them entertained in April and encourage them to learn new skills and make new friends.

Activities include:
- Holiday Bingo: Search and find hidden images scattered through the library to go into the draw to win a prize pack
- Paper Cup Pen Holder: Tidy up your desk and turn a paper cup into your very own custom design pen holder
- Paper Fans: Create a paper fan using only a piece of paper and a pop-stick to decorate your room or just to keep you cool
- Flying Swallows: Create majestic 3D Flying Swallows with just paper
- Beaded Key Chains: Using a variety of beads, these colourful keychains make great gifts or add some bling to your bag
- Create Egg Cups: Brighten up breakfast time! Design & decorate your own ceramic egg cup just in time for Easter
- Scratch Board Bunny Ears: Scratch designs with a scratch tool to make designs on your Bunny Ears ready for Easter
- Rainbow Magic Fairies: Make your own favourite fairy
- Make a Puppet: Using a variety of materials, build a puppet to take home and put on a show for the whole family
- Yarn Fish: Draw your own unique fish then wrap it in yarn to create a masterpiece
- Paper Mosaic Creations: Create a unique artwork with mosaic - a great way to use up your scrap paper!
- Seed Balls: Make seed balls for your garden out of soil and clay. Create an insect friendly garden and encourage beneficial insects into your backyard
- Scratch Board Photo Frames: Scratch designs with a scratch tool to make a customized photo frame
- Embroidered Hoops: Using simple stitches and embroidery threads, create your own piece of stitched art
- Spin Drum: Build, design and create a Spin drum

Ages: 5 –12 years for all activities, unless otherwise stated.

While these activities are designed for ages 5 – 12, younger children may require assistance from a parent or carer to complete the activity.
