Mandurah Bowling and Recreation Club in partnership with VisAbility, the City of Mandurah and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, have launched the South West Rollers, an ongoing lawn bowls program for people who are blind or are vision impaired!
The program gives those living with vision impairment or blindness the opportunity to learn and participate in lawn bowls, in a safe and social environment with like-minded people!
No experience necessary, just show up if you're interested and have fun!
They encourage anyone with vision impairment or blindness who lives in Mandurah and Peel Regions or other surrounding communities to join!
From January 21st the club will meet and play fortnightly from 9.30am - 11.30am every second Friday.
Cost to play is just $5 per person each time you play. They have spare bowls and are happy to help and instruct newbies to the game!
Head along and join in the fun, learn a new sport, and meet new people in a friendly atmosphere!
