Police have charged a man in relation to four burglaries in the Mandurah area.
All incidents took place between Monday February 18 and Thursday March 7.
The first was in Silver Sands on Monday February 18, where its alleged he entered a supermarket on Mandurah Terrace and was seen taking several items from the shelves and concealing them in his clothing.
Staff challenged the man has he attempted to leave the store which made him aggressive.
A member of staff attempted to restrain the man, but he broke free and left the store.
The second incident occurred on Wednesday February 27 where its alleged the man entered a fast food store on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah and left a short time later.
He then re-entered the store and said he was armed with a firearm.
He demanded money but left empty handed.
The third incident was in Greenfields on Tuesday March 5 where the man allegedly entered a store on Pinjarra Road in Greenfields where he selected two vacuum cleaners.
He attempted to leave the store without paying for the items and was confronted by a staff member.
He then produced a knife to warn the staff member off and left the store.
The final incident occurred yesterday when the man allegedly entered the 7Eleven service station on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah where he produced a knife and demanded cash from a staff member.
The staff member complied with the demand and left the store with cash.
Other customers were in the store at the time of the offence.
Regional Investigation Unit detectives with the help of the canine unit found the man in an Elizabeth Street residence yesterday and took the man into custody.
A 20-year-old of no fixed address has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count each of attempted armed robbery and robbery.
He was refused bail and is due to face Perth Magistrates Court today.
