Nearly 200 kilograms of cannabis and a large amount of cash have been seized from a property in Oldbury.
Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged a New South Wales man following the discovery of a large Cannabis crop on a semi-rural rental property in
the suburb of Oldbury, near Wellard and Mundijong.
Police executed a search warrant on the Boomerang Road property on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 and discovered an elaborate greenhouse crop totalling 1,217 cannabis plants.
Police also found 198kgs of Cannabis head material that had been harvested and $10,650 in cash.
A 26 year old man from Cabramatta has been charged with Cultivate a Prohibited Plant with Intent to Sell/Supply and Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply (Cannabis).
He appeared in the Armadale Magistrates Court on March 14, and was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court next month.
Investigations continue into other persons who may have been involved in the crop.
