A woman and a child have been taken to hospital after a car slammed into a guard rail in Greenfields.
The crash, involving a white Ford Ranger, happened just after 7.30pm on Tuesday at the intersection of Gordon Road and Lakes Road.
There are unconfirmed reports that the driver fled the scene.
A St John WA spokeswoman said a woman in her 30s and a male child were taken to Peel Health Campus with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating.
