Police believe a body found in bushland south-east of Perth is a woman aged in her thirties.
A member of the public made the grim discovery around 6.30am on Sunday.
The body was located in bushland off Canning Dam Road.
Homicide Squad detectives returned to the crime scene on Monday to continue their investigation.
Canning Dam road remains closed to the public.
Police have not yet revealed how long the body had been there for.
