The City of Mandurah has been rated the best council in the country.
According to the app, Snap Send Solve, Mandurah scored 67.4 per cent on the first-of-its-kind Community Satisfaction Index.
The app allows residents to take a photo of an issue in the community such as graffiti, vandalism, cracked footpaths and dumped rubbish and report it to the council in real-time.

Snap Send Solve CEO and founder Danny Gorog said residents were then asked how satisfied they were with the council's response to the issue.
"Every time someone does a report we ask them how satisfied they were with the solve..how quickly did it happen and we've taken all of that data and we've combined it with a resident survey of about 14,000 residents to create an index," he said.
“This report is only possible because of the nearly one million Snap Send Solve users – we call them Snappers – who take the time to photograph and report issues that they see so councils and other services providers – the Solvers – can quickly and more effectively respond."
The City of Mandurah came out on top followed by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield in South Australia (67.0 per cent), Whitehorse City in Victoria (66.8 per cent), Manningham in Victoria (66.7 per cent) and the City of Cockburn in WA (66.5 per cent).
The City of Rockingham scored a rating of 63.5 per cent.
City of Mandurah Mayor Caroline Knight said she was thrilled the City was recognised as the top-rated council in Australia
"While we always look to improve, this recognition is credit to our hardworking staff and shows that our community values the service and support we provide," she said.
“Listening to our community and responding to their needs is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s through tools like Snap Send Solve, community consultations, or day-to-day conversations with residents, we take feedback seriously."
