Iconic sports commentator Dennis Cometti has died aged 76.
Cometti's career spanned over 50 years, covering a range of sports but most notably AFL.
He worked on both radio and television and was the voice of the AFL for 30 years before retiring in 2016.
Cometti was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2020.
It is not yet clear how he died but there are reports he was battling an illness.
Just last month, Seven announced they would be releasing a special documentary later this year celebrating Cometti's career.
