The family of Hayden Stacey, who was shot and killed by Police in Wannanup, have remembered their son as a loving polite man.
The family of the 22-year-old have released a statement saying Hayden was a 'beautiful soul'.
"He was a very loving and polite young man with his whole life ahead of him." the statement said.
“He was also very troubled with mental illness.
“This is a tragic loss of a young person’s life.
“One that could have been avoided.
“He is at peace now.
“From our family to yours we urge anyone who is feeling like they need help and support, please let family help you.
“RIP Hayden.”
The local tradie was shot by Police in the early hours of Sunday morning and taken to Peel Health Campus where he later died.
The Homicide Squad and Internal Affairs continue to investigate the incident.
