Firefighters are mopping up after a vehicle fire spread to nearby bushland along the Kwinana Freeway in Baldivis on Sunday.
A white SUV caught alight around 12.40pm in the southbound lanes of the freeway just after the Karnup Road exit.
The flames then sparked a bushfire which prompted an advice warning for motorists and nearby residents.

The Kwinana Freeway was also closed in both directions causing massive delays for drivers.
Around 5.50pm, the fire was contained and controlled.
It had burnt through 11.5 hectares.
It's understood no one was injured.
