Four children are part of a group of seven people found dead in a Margaret River home this morning.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of seven people in Osmington, near Margaret River.
Just after 5am this morning Police were called to a home in Osmington where they discovered the bodies of seven people, three adults and four children.
Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said the group of seven people found dead this morning are believed to be a family and residents at the Osmington property.
Two firearms have been located at the scene, but its not yet confirmed how the people involved died.
Specialist units from Perth, including the Homicide Squad and Forensic Crime Scene Unit, have been sent to the scene.
Police are expected to remain at the residence for an extended period of time.
Commissioner Dawson said at this point in time there are no concerns about wider public safety.
