A Mandurah teacher who raped a student and gave birth to his child will remain on bail for several months in order to undergo a psychiatric assessment.
Naomi Tekea Craig, 33, pleaded guilty to 15 child sex offences in January.
The music teacher admitted to the persistent sexual abuse of the boy between 2024 and 2025.
The victim was 12 when the sexual abuse began and 13 when Craig gave birth to a baby that police allege was fathered by the student.
The West Australian reports, Craig was not required to appear in the Perth District Court on Friday.
Her lawyer requested an adjournment so a psychiatric assessment could be carried out.
Craig's bail was extended until her next court appearance on July 3.
She is prohibited from having any contact with children that are not her own.
