A fire has torn through a home in Golden Bay.
Emergency services received a triple zero call around 8.30am on Friday with reports of black smoke billowing from the Arcoona Avenue property.
Firefighters remain at the scene.
Fire Investigation officers are currently working to determine the cause of the blaze.
A DFES spokesperson confirmed over 60 per cent of the home has been damaged by fire and 100 per cent sustained smoke damage.
It is not yet known if anyone was home at the time.
