A staff member arrived at Gold’s Gym on Sunlight Drive around 6am on Wednesday to find at least 12 rounds had been fired into the front windows of the building.
It is understood the shooting happened between 9.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday night.
No one was in the gym at the time.
Police and forensics spent the day combing the scene for evidence and seizing CCTV from the business.
The Gang Crime Squad has been called in to investigate possible bikie links.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area who may have heard the shots or seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the vicinity.
