A bushfire in the City of Kwinana has been downgraded to an advice.
The blaze sparked up at the intersection of Anketell Road and Abercrombie Road on Monday afternoon.
A Watch and Act was originally issued for an area bounded by Thomas Road, Kwinana Freeway, Mandogalup Road, Postans Road and Abercrombie Road.
A number of roads were closed as fire crews spent the night fighting the fire.
The blaze is now contained, but not yet controlled.
The cause is not yet known but currently there has been 18 hectares of land burnt.
Anketell Road remains closed in both directions between Mandogalup Road and Abercrombie Road.
