A 51-year-old has been left in hospital with head injuries.
Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly assaulted another man during a late night incident in Huntingdale, south of Perth.
Just after 10pm on Thursday night officers were called to Charco's Chicken take away shop on Warton Road, where it was reported the 51-year-old victim had been assaulted, receiving head injuries.
The owner of the store, said the victim is his cousin, who is also a part owner.
The offender fled the scene shortly after the attack, Police are trying to determine if the incident was a targeted assault.
The victim was taken to Armadale Hospital but has since been transferred to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the incident or that has information that may help identify those involved.
