A man has been charged after allegedly killing his dog in Esperance.
The 61-year-old man allegedly attacked his two-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Border Collie cross with an axe on Saturday, April 21.
Tragically, the dog died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the attack.
The Nulsen man has been charged with cruelty to animals and is due to appear before the Esperance Magistrates Court on May 15.
