A 38-year-old man has been charged over a series of alleged crimes across Baldivis, Wellard, Kwinana and Naval Base.
The man is accused of stealing a grey Nissan X-Trail from a home on Santorini Parkway in Baldivis by reversing the vehicle through the garage door on Sunday, August 3.
The man then allegedly used the same vehicle to ram through the roller doors of a café and liquor store on Weston Street in Naval Base about 3am on Monday, August 4.
Police allege the accused also stole an unregistered motorcycle from a home in Wellard between August 3 and August 5.
Officers allegedly spotted the stolen motorcycle on Pepperell Crescent in Leda around 7.20pm on August 5 and activated their lights and sirens but the rider failed to stop and accelerated away.
"Police lost sight of the vehicle on Bingfield Road East in Medina," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"A few hours later, police responded to reports of an aggravated burglary at a fast-food restaurant on Amazon Drive in Baldivis.
"It will be alleged the accused used an object to smash the glass panels of the door to enter the premises."
About 10.20pm, police sighted the stolen motorcycle on Wellard Road in Wellard but again the rider allegedly failed to stop and sped away in a reckless manner at high speeds.
Police Airwing tracked the motorbike before directing officers on the ground to the rider's location after he attempted to flee on foot.
The Parmelia man has been charged with a string of offences including aggravated home burglary, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, two counts of no authority to drive and reckless driving to escape pursuit.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, August 6.
