A 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly ploughing into a home in Parmelia before fleeing the scene.
The man is accused of being behind the wheel of a white Toyota Hilux utility when it crashed into the home on Gould Place just before 2am on Sunday, September 8.
A 19-year-old woman, who police say is known to the accused, was in the house at the time and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested the man at a home on MacKay Place in Cooloongup on Thursday night.
He has been charged with attempted murder, stealing, no authority to drive and assault occasioning bodily harm.
The man was refused bail and will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
