The City of Mandurah are pulling out all the stops for the annual Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest, presented by LiveLighter, as it celebrates its 20th year.
This year's two-day event, held over the March 17-18 weekend, includes over 100 hours of free entertainment, with local and international acts across four stages.
Celebrities will also turn out for the event, while unique food experiences will be on offer to punters.
The fun doesn't stop there, live music water activities and a special anniversary-edition fireworks display are sure to have people wowed.
The award-winning Mandurah Crab Fest is the state's biggest free regional event, showcasing the best food and entertainment in the Peel Region.
Mayor Rhys Williams marked the Mandurah Crab Fest as a highlight in the WA event calendar, and said the 20th anniversary event was not to be missed.
"Crab Fest showcases what we all know, that Mandurah is such a special place with plenty on offer - from our waterways, our people and our relaxed alfresco lifestyle," he said.
"The final touches are being put on this year's Crab Fest and I'm really excited, it's shaping up to be another crowd-pleaser with something for everyone."
With over 100,000 in attendance last year, large crowds are predicted to take in the festivities during the 20th anniversary edition of the festival.
In a statement The City of Mandurah said the festival was an integral part of the state's annual event calendar and it delivered both economic and social benefits to local businesses and the community.
As part of the birthday celebrations a giant inflatable blue manna crab will be visiting key Perth locations to help spread the news about the Mandurah Crab Fest.
People who spot the iconic Mandurah crab are encouraged to snap a selfie with it.
The giant crab can be found making an appearance at the following locations:
- Sunday February 18 10.00am-2.00pm Hillarys Boat Harbour
- Sunday February 25 12.00pm-4.00pm Fremantle Boat Harbour

The Mandurah Crab Fest is supported by the State Government through Tourism WA's Regional Events program, made possible by Royalties for Regions.
