Atrium Hotel will trial a new pet-friendly policy for two weeks.
From Tuesday, visitors can stay with their pets as part of a two-week trial.
It's small dogs only at this stage, and if your four legged friend has an accident in the room, it'll cost you an extra $250.
The Australian Hotels Association isn't aware of any other WA pet-friendly hotels, but warns the new policy could potentially cause food law breaches and accidental damage.
Atrium marketing manager Jacob Goodlich told PerthNow the idea is to progress with the times.
"People want to travel with their pets," he said.
"They want them to be in their family photos and have a good time with them."
The response online has been mixed so far, with some people loving the idea and others saying they would never stay in a hotel that allowed dogs.
Many hotels in Europe and the US already allow pets to stay in rooms for an additional fee, and most American airlines allow pets to fly on board with their owners.
The trial at the Atrium begins on Tuesday April 2 and will run for two weeks.
