Warm temperatures and sunshine will be a thing of the past when rain buckets down on Mandurah this weekend.
If you had plans of getting outdoors this weekend, you might want to pack an umbrella ... and possibly some gumboots ... or just stay home and watch Netflix.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting up to 40mm of rain across Saturday and Sunday with harsh winds and even a thunderstorm on Sunday evening.
On Saturday Mandurah locals could see up to 30mm of rain, with the downpour lessening to 10mm by Sunday.
It's likely showers will continue into the working week with chances about 80 per cent that rain will hit the city until Thursday.
The July rainfall total currently sits at 74.8mm but the weekend forecast could see the city's total past the 100mm mark.
