Over 17,000 Mandurah residents have cast their votes early in the State Election, the most out of any early voting centre across WA.
With election day tomorrow, Saturday March 8, several voters have chosen to skip the queues at their local polling places.
WA Electoral Commissioner Robert Kennedy said it has been a popular choice in the southern suburbs.
"Mandurah is our biggest single early polling centre at the moment with over 17,000 votes having being cast there already.
"Rockingham is not far behind on 16,000 and Dawesville at 13,000.
"If you don't want to vote early there'll be over 700 polling places available tomorrow, Saturday 8th March.
"It is compulsory to vote in this election and there is a $50 fine if you are recorded as not voting."
