A 45-year-old who allegedly assaulted a man in a Mandurah home will have his charge upgraded to murder.
Police were called to a house on Forward Street around 8.45pm on Thursday October 17, where they found the 45-year-old man allegedly assaulting the 43-year-old man.
Officers provided immediate first aid to the victim, including CPR, before he was taken to hospital.
The 43-year-old passed away in hospital three days after the attack.
The 45-year-old was originally charged with attempted murder, but will be upgraded when he appears in Perth Magistrate's Court today.
