The Department of Health has issued a measles alert after two new cases were recently identified.
The new cases are linked to a cluster of cases in early July in the Perth and Pilbara regions.
Exposure locations include Shampoo Shop at Rockingham Shopping Centre, McDonalds Baldivis, Mandurah Forum, Department of Transport, Driving Test Centre in Rockingham and JB Hi-Fi Rockingham.
Measles is highly infectious and can spread via airborne droplets to people close by.
Droplets in the air may still infect people entering a room up to 30 minutes after an infected person has left it.
People who have visited an exposure location during the specified dates and times are advised to monitor for symptoms.
Symptoms of measles include a fever, tiredness, runny nose, cough, sore red eyes and a red blotchy rash.
Anyone who develops symptoms of measles should put on a mask, isolate and seek medical care to be tested for measles.
