 
                                    A 59-year-old Safety Bay man has been charged after police allegedly uncovered a haul of drugs and weapons in his possession.
Rockingham Detectives carried out a search warrant at the man's home on Tuesday, June 10 after receiving information from members of the public.
They allegedly located a "significant quantity" of drugs including methylamphetamine and cannabis along with an assortment of prohibited weapons which included two tasers, an extendable baton, a replica firearm and a gel blaster.
The man has been charged with a string of offences including possessing a trafficable amount of methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, three counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession.
His bail has been refused and he is next due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on June 23.
