A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after crashing during a police pursuit in Halls Head.
Police say the man was riding a black Harley Davidson in the Mandurah area around 8.30pm on Saturday when he allegedly failed to stop for officers and sped off.
They chased him along Pinjarra Road, Sutton Street, Davey Street, George Street and Old Coast Road where he crashed at the intersection of McLarty Street in Halls Head.
The man, aged in his 20s, suffered critical injuries.
The rescue helicopter landed at Halls Head oval shortly after the crash and conveyed the injured man to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Major Crash Investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the crash or the Harley Davidson motorcycle in the Mandurah and Halls Head areas or have dash cam footage of the motorcycle.
