A Parmelia man is celebrating an $829,000 Saturday Lotto win thanks to a sliding doors moment.
Following a small win on a Powerball ticket, the winner said he decided to grab an extra Saturday Lotto ticket through his Lotterywest membership online.
“My brother and I share in a System 5, but it was the Slikpik that came through,” he said.
“I saw game 11 and the six blue dots, so I said to my brother, "that can’t be right", so I wrote the winning numbers down.”
After confirming the numbers matched the six-figure prize, the winner said he was now planning a low-key celebration.
“It will be a curry night, tonight.” he said.
Lotterywest draws are still running, with the next major chance for WA players to win in tomorrow's $60 million Powerball draw.
In following with COVID safety practices and the State Government’s current restrictions, Lotterywest Head Office is currently closed to the public.
Should there be any queries regarding a prize, players are encouraged to contact Lotterywest on 133 777.
