The sixth annual Peel Open Studios event is around the corner with more than 70 artists to open their studio doors to the public.
From Saturday, May 3 to Sunday, May 11, visual artists, creatives and art groups from Mandurah and Murray will welcome the public into their workspaces, allowing a special behind-the-scenes look into the artistic process.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see incredible works of art in progress across different mediums including painting, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, sculpture and much more.
Peel Open Studios attracted more than 4000 visitors across 36 locations in 2024, with the program showcasing the region’s local talents and celebrating artists in the community.

Mandurah Mayor Caroline Knight encouraged everyone to step inside the world of talented local artists during the Peel Open Studios program.
“Peel Open Studios is all about celebrating and supporting our strong, talented and engaged artistic community who make important contributions to our city and the wider region,” Mayor Knight said.
“It’s also a great opportunity for local artists to promote their art, sell their work and connect with the community.
“We invite everyone to follow the art trail and step inside the creative spaces. Meet the artists, learn about their inspiration, and discover the stories behind the art for yourself – it will be an amazing week full of surprises!”
As well as individual artists, several art collectives and galleries are also opening their doors as part of Peel Open Studios including Dusty Souls Pottery, Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah Youth Residency artists, Peel Printmaking, The Church Collective, Mandurah Plein Air Artists, Murray Districts Arts and Crafts Society and more.
The Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is also hosting the Peel Open Studios Origins 25 exhibition until May 11, featuring a collection of artworks by artists participating in the Peel Open Studios event.
Peel Open Studios 2025 is presented and delivered by the City of Mandurah and supported by the Shire of Murray.
