Rockingham police are investigating an indecent act where a man exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in Port Kennedy.
Police said on Sunday around 4.20pm the girl was walking along the Port Kennedy foreshore near Bayeux Avenue when a man walked towards her and exposed himself.
A short time later as the girl approached the pathway to Bayeux Avenue she saw the man again.
This time he approached her and attempted to start a conversation with the victim who ran away.
The man was last seen showering under the public shower on Bayeux Avenue.
He's described as 25 to 30 years of age, with brown skin, approximately 165cms tall and a slim build.
Police would like to speak to anyone in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen the man, particularly a woman who came to the girl’s aid and who walked with her to the beach carpark.
