A search in several locations is now underway for Nicholas Richard Henihan.
Nicholas Richard Henihan hasn't been seen since 8.25am on Thursday.
Police are now searching for the 46-year-old who was last seen near his home in Piara Waters.
Further inquiries by police identified that he may be in the City Beach area and police officers are currently searching Reabold Hill next to Oceanic Drive in City Beach.
Police have concerns for his welfare and ask anyone who sees Mr Henihan, or has any information relating to his whereabouts, to call Police on 131 444.
Mr Henihan is described as fair skinned, approximately 179cms tall, with a medium build, red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, brown trousers and blue shoes.
