Public Transport changes for Ed Sheeran fans

PIC: File

Transperth is preparing for the first major live music performance at Optus Stadium this weekend.

Special public transport arrangements have been put in place to get Ed Sheeran fans to and from the concerts at Optus Stadium this weekend.

Transperth said it would take up to two hours for concert-goers to get home following the shows on both Friday and Saturday night.

It also warned people to prepare their travel arrangements and allow plenty of time to get to the stadium.

Regular commuters are also warned that Friday afternoon’s Joondalup and Mandurah line services may appear busier because some train services will be reduced from six-car to three-car trains.

Armadale and Thornlie line services will be delayed and crowded because trains on those lines will stop at Perth Stadium Station.
